The purpose of the men’s ministry is to encourage, motivate and build up men in our church and in the community. God’s word instructs men to lead, provide for and love their wives and families. Strong, faithful men who love God are essential to strong churches, families and communities. The Entwistle Community Church Men’s Ministry is committed to being obedient to God’s commandments by the theme of “iron sharpens iron”. Men get together to encourage each other through the study of God’s Word, recreation and through acts of service.
Men’s Ministry Activities include:
- Serving a Barbeque Supper for approximately 300 at the Mustard Seed
- Barbeque and Skeet Shooting
- Monthly Men’s Bible Study Mere Christianity by C.S Lewis
- Serving Christmas Dinner for approximately 600 at Hope Mission in December
We also plan to prioritize encouraging men in their spiritual walk through studying the Word and praying together.
